I'm a former radio DJ, now a web and graphic designer with two soon-to-come Internet stations of my own (I've found self-employment improves both my job performance AND satisfaction).
You might get an idea of the types of bands I'll be creating here by the fact that I'm a Top 40 kinda guy. If it's mainstream, I'm into it. I'm into a lot of other stuff, too -- pretty much anything other than country and opera -- but I'm mostly a pop/rock/hip-hop/R&B/dance fan.
<3 is my first band created for Figment. Check them out below. I also have a few other bands on the drawing board, including a few more rock bands, a couple of hip-hop acts, a female pop trio and some solo artists in various genres.
I'll be signing my artists to my Profound Nothingness label.

(Self Titled)Date Released: 12/13/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 13 Listens: 28 (Also known as "...is the name of the band. You'll still have to pay for the album.") The first studio album from the band the Hillsdale Birdcage Liner once called "better than stabbing yourself in the eye with a knitting needle." We're not so sure. If the popularity of classic rock is any indication, though, it's likely you'll enjoy it, even if it does blind you. |

Communiqués... From the FUTURE!Date Released: 2/8/2013 Tracks: 5 Sales: 4 Listens: 4 An EP from everyone's favorite pop-rock indulgence. Lead singer Evan Quinn had this to say in a recent interview: "Well, you know, we just wanted to put something out there that was a bit of a lark, you know? Something that we wouldn't normally do for the public at large, but something our dedicated fans would love, and that's what Communiqués is. It's stuff we've played around with at shows that always got a good reaction but we were never quite sure it was ready to go on a whole album. These tracks didn't really fit any of our other projects, so we put them all together sort of hodgepodge-like, and the EP's what came out of it." No radio singles from this album, but "All Imagination, No Taste" has reportedly already been heard in Seattle and Austin. |
