I'm just a sort of goth metalhead. Saw this link in my email. Eh, okay. I dress emo, I act goth, and I listen to metal. LOTS of metal... and J-Pop.
I love music, and I've been making up fake bands for a long time. My favorite real bands are as follows:
Escape the Fate
My Chemical Romance
Blood Stain Child
Blinded Colony
All That Remains
Dir en grey
Dragonforce
Flyleaf
Nightwish
Hollywood Undead
Unearth
I play bass and guitar, and try to sing.
I love Japan, Japanese, and everything associated with it, but it conflicts with my insatiable craving of cheeseburgers. My user name is a reference to the videogame F.E.A.R. If you haven't played it.... play it.

RiplashDate Released: 4/10/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 15 Listens: 17 This album gives the unsuspecting world a taste of CHMMO's aggressive punk-metal. With a scream-freak-out on "Going Into Overdrive" and an old-school punk three chord progression on "My Car...sucks" all over-laid by shouted vocals, this album's a testosterone-charged force to be reckoned with. |
We're Only Here Because You Didn't Want UsDate Released: 4/10/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 11 Listens: 12 Sanguine Symphony's debut album blends the sorrow and angst of emo with the brutality of screamo, ending with a 12-minute opus of blistering drums, scorching solos, melodic picking, and haunting vocals. The rest of the album shares these traits, as it carries on a theme of broken love and screaming. Truly a very unique and excellent screamo album. |
The Death EPDate Released: 4/13/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 8 Listens: 8 DeathBreth, being in a furious energetic rage form their last release, were hungry to release a new EP. So, here it is. The band's signature ultra-heavy metal sound is back in full-force, if not amplified. Do not play while your grandmother is home. |
A Brother in Arms EPDate Released: 4/13/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 13 Listens: 11 CHMMO release their first EP. On A Brother in Arms, they go for a darker, more serious tone. It's just an EP, so their goal is to experiment with a new sound. |
ReflectionDate Released: 4/17/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 12 The debut album from ex-Sanguine Symphony bass player fronted band Dying Unholy. Traces of Sanguine Symphony's screamo sound are here, but Angelica Duon goes more for a straight up hardcore/power metal sound on Reflection. |
Ultra WhipdownDate Released: 4/17/2009 Tracks: 8 Sales: 7 Listens: 6 The uber symphonic debut album of Power Metalers Dragonfarce is the most epic album to ever release. With solos as fast as 900 notes per minute, and lyrics that sing of great battles and apocalyptic evil, Ultra Whipdown is a tour de force to end all Magnum Opuses, and is sure to appear for download for Guitar Hero in minutes. |
Ladies and Gentlemen...Date Released: 4/18/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 7 Listens: 6 The first EP by Sanguine Symphony with bass player Seth Rodney. They keep their fans happy with their trademark red/black color scheme, as well some awesome new tracks. It's more than enough to get psyched up for their next full-length album. The screams are emotional, and the riffs are tight. Enjoy. |
SpecterumDate Released: 4/21/2009 Tracks: 4 Sales: 7 Listens: 6 The first EP from Dying Unholy, probably launched to compete with Sanguine Symphony's growing popularity. Think of it what you will, but it packs some punch. |
PurityDate Released: 5/8/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 9 Listens: 10 The second album from Gothic Metalers Whispers to the Fallen continues their assault of screamed vocals, twin fire-storm guitars, and thunderous drums. The band goes for a more gothic approach this time, featuring violins, organ, and a choir on tracks such as "My Blood for You" and "Glory for the Fallen", and the epic, uber symphonic "She Called My Name." |
Beijing BlingDate Released: 5/11/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 4 Listens: 7 The self-titled debut from Chinese Rapper Beijing Bling features masterful rhymes, strong, original beats and some of the only rap in Chinese out there. (Song titles translated from Cantonese.) |
An Angel ScornedDate Released: 5/13/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 8 Listens: 8 The second full length album by DeathBreth is a massively more ambitious attempt than their debut. The metalers try to give more form to their songs, even breaking out a few acoustic riffs. The last song is simply an instrumental acoustic. Make no mistake, this is still undeniably DeathBreth. Not a single lyric is actually sung during the entire album. (That's not to say some aren't simply spoken or shouted.) It's still only for the hardest of the hardcore, it just has tighter riffage. |
Ding Lei Gor FaiDate Released: 5/14/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 5 Listens: 8 The latest EP from Chinese rapper Beijing Bling. The title track is too vulgar to be translated into English, so yeah. |
Born of the AshesDate Released: 5/15/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 12 Listens: 12 CHMMO tried a testosterone-fueled mindlessness on their first album and a mature, serious one on their EP (Albeit with very aggressive music.) Due to equal enjoyment from their fans, they go for a solid mix of both on their second full-length album. There's also a stronger metal influence this time around. If you're a fan of CHMMO, don't miss out on Born of the Ashes |
UntitledDate Released: 5/16/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 14 Listens: 22 This is the most powerful effort from either Sanguine Symphony or Whispers to the Fallen yet. The heavy riffs and pounding drums mixed with heart-wrenching vocals and soaring choruses will leave your jaw on the floor. |
RetaliationDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 6 Listens: 6 The Screamo entrepreneurs return on their second full-length album. They still haven't moderated their raw angst one bit, and it shows on tracks like "Retaliation (We'll Make Them Pay) " and "There's Always One." Sanguine Symphony just took the pain on their last album. This time, they're retaliating against it all. A large step forward. They also balance the scream/sing ratio to 60:40. |
There's Nothing leftDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 5 Sales: 7 Listens: 6 The first EP from the Forgotten Falling. It basically continues their work from their first album. "Alliance" is a tribute to how the pairing of Sanguine Symphony and Whispers to the Fallen garnered both bands more fame in a couple days as they got in months individually. |
Eclipse of EternityDate Released: 5/18/2009 Tracks: 8 Sales: 11 Listens: 10 This is the most epic, dramatic, powerful album ever released, ever. Power Metal will be changed forever. The heavens will shiver as Dragonfarce's insane solos and sheer power tear through the wall that is mediocre music. |
For the FansDate Released: 5/19/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 5 Listens: 3 The second EP from Sanguine Symphony is filled with songs that didn't exactly fit on either of the last two albums or EP. There are live tracks and covers. Enjoy. |
The WarDate Released: 6/16/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 7 This is Whispers to the Fallen's third album. This is also their most ambitious. The songs are dark, aggressive, and creepy, seething with gothic angst and the power of metal. The symphonic riffage will have you worshiping the whispers in no time. Vengeance is the new Through the Fire and the Flames. This is The War. |
ChokeholdDate Released: 6/22/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 8 Deathbreth's third album continues with raw aggression. What else? Not much. They're bad; they're aggressive; they're DeathBreth. |
BurialDate Released: 8/3/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 9 Listens: 14 The second LP from The Forgotten Falling. Yep, they're an official band now. This album sounds almost the same as the last one, which shouldn't be that disappointing for fans of the last album. |
Autumn on FireDate Released: 8/3/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 6 Listens: 6 Sanguine Symphony gets together on top of The Forgotten Falling for their third studio album. They still haven't changed, except for the better. They've learned a thing or two about working with Whispers to the Fallen, and their songs are now imbued with mind-shattering power. This is Sanguine Symphony at their best; bludgeoning drums back up the soaring guitars, with the lyrics going back to their emo roots. This an album every fan can't miss. |
This is SayonaraDate Released: 10/16/2009 Tracks: 12 Sales: 12 Listens: 39 After months in the studio trying to find a sound, The Forgotten Falling finally has it. With the addition of Miyako Rey's sister Yumishi's keyboards, FF has found their new sound in trance metal/hardcore. Fans needn't worry, for the band's sound is still here, just augmented, the only difference being a more metal influence this time around. |
Beauty in DestructionDate Released: 10/19/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 7 DeathBreth has returned with a fourth album. There is no end to their relentless deathcore assault, as evident by their latest album. They try a few half time bridges, and some organ riffs, but besides that they haven't changed. |
HarakiriDate Released: 10/28/2009 Tracks: 6 Sales: 7 Listens: 5 The second release of FF with Yumishi Rey and with no Virgil Levli. The band doesn't let up when it comes to powerful riffs and awesome harmony, resulting in hardcore metal that's both fun to dance and headbang to. The tone is dark in a more brutal way rather than the angst of the last release, but the sound hasn't changed. And they know Harakiri is Japanese ritual suicide, but it still sounds cool. |
Walking With SpiritsDate Released: 11/7/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 11 Listens: 14 The first Whispers to the Fallen album lacking Miyako Rey, but Virgil Levli makes up for her absence by soloing twice as long and prerecording all of the rhythm parts. It's taken a long time, but they're finally back with more of the same. |
Christmas/New Years AlbumDate Released: 11/15/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 9 After a long rehab from his addiction to Dr. Pepper, Beijing Bling is back, and with more rhymes and 'tude then ever before. He also has more class this time... NOT! And he returns just in time for the holidays! |
It's Our ChoiceDate Released: 11/18/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 4 Listens: 5 It took many arguments, a long time, and the act of joining forces with Jack Debussiria of Whispers to the Fallen , but Dying Unholy are back with a sophomore album. Here they trade their odd time signatures and song structures in favor of overdriven bass, echoey guitars, and an overall crushing yet melodic sound. Leaked rumors suggest that some songs on here are about medical controversies. |
Neo-Gothic Metropolis: The AlbumDate Released: 11/21/2009 Tracks: 14 Sales: 10 Listens: 27 Returning to an old song for a title, FF are back with their 4th full-length studio record. The sound of This is Sayonara makes a return here, as well as an extended version of their song Neo-Gothic Metropolis featuring Gravestompers to augment the guitar solo section. In short, synths sing, drums pound, riffs soar, and vocals lead it all in a melodic yet heavy-as-hell show of power. |
Waking the Witch (Single)Date Released: 11/30/2009 Tracks: 1 Sales: 8 Listens: 6 This is Deathbreth's new single, Waking the Witch. If you're a Deathbreth fan you already know what it sounds like. |
All That Lies StillDate Released: 12/6/2009 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 9 Here it is: DeathBreth has produced a highly technical, tighter-than-a-choker album. The songs are as brutal as ever, and DeathBreth has dabbled in piano, a choir, and even accordion. However, they STILL haven't let up on trying to crush the listener under their furious metalcore. Features a heavier, tighter, remaster of their successful single "Waking the Witch" with Miyako Rey of the Forgotten Falling singing the female vocal parts and helping on an insane 2nd solo. She also sings the cover. |
Soundtrack to a DreamDate Released: 12/8/2009 Tracks: 1 Sales: 6 Listens: 11 This is the Forgotten Falling's new single to give fans a taste of some new material. Features Death Face. |
Covering Up The Evidence: The Forgotten FallingDate Released: 12/9/2009 Tracks: 13 Sales: 6 Listens: 7 Without a clue how they were going to top Neo-Gothic Metropolis, The Forgotten Falling decided to take a break from studio writing and "covered" (Haha album-name pun) some of their favorite songs from their favorite artists that were influential to their sound and attitude. |
Steam Punk-rock StarDate Released: 12/17/2009 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 13 After a very long time away from the studio Chainsaw Homicidal MonkeyMan Overdrive are back! They release their third album in the hopes that some people might remember them. And yes, the guitarist will be using that guitar onstage at the upcoming Controversy show! Be there. |
Live On the No Holds Barred TourDate Released: 12/23/2009 Tracks: 20 Sales: 8 Listens: 15 Not only is this the Forgotten falling live on the No Holds Barred tour, but this is also the most complete fan tribute ever! Watch the Gothic, Matrix-inspired video for Neo-Gothic Metropolis! Find out what happened when Yumishi mistranslated Miyako's lyrics! See the short film Malcolm made in college! And get the band's opinions on the tour! All for the price of one CD! |
Manta ReyDate Released: 1/10/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 3 Listens: 2 The debut album from Russian/Japanese Forgotten Falling sisters Yumishi and Miyako Rey. Blends arena techno keyboards and beats with metal guitars in a super-charged fusion. Perfect for parties, raves, and people who love to listen to Japanese girls sing. Yumishi- Vocals, Keyboards, Programming Miyako- Guitar, bass |
ShatterDate Released: 1/13/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 13 Listens: 26 The highly anticipated fifth album from Whispers to the Fallen... and they're not pulling any punches. "We were the first band to sign to Fallen Records" said frontman Dmitri Oskolov, "And we're showing the world why!" "With or without Malcolm," added guitarist Virgil Levli. The sound can only be described as a symphony of licks, thunderous drums, and falsetto notes and haunting melodies vs. brutal death shrieks, as all the while the D minor Aeolian and Phrygian modes dominate your ears. |
V: The Eyes of The DragonDate Released: 1/19/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 10 Listens: 7 Your ears aren't clogged. Your brain isn't damaged. DeathBreth actually sings on this album. Chainsaw's secret vocal lessons have paid off, and he's back with a powerful, deep voice... and more signature death growls. The signature DeathBreth thunderous blast beats, lightning guitars, and chunky bass also return. Plus, DeathBreth's series of signature "Pain" singles return! (For all the DeathBreth fans desiring something more akin to the old sound.) |
December Cult (Single)Date Released: 2/3/2010 Tracks: 5 Sales: 8 Listens: 6 The first single of Whispers To The Fallen's successful album "Shatter." Featuring two new tracks off the upcoming album and two tracks live from the "This is Our Time To Rock Tour." |
ApocolyptionDate Released: 2/10/2010 Tracks: 14 Sales: 18 Listens: 27 The long-anticipated fifth studio album from trance metal sensations The Forgotten Falling has the band staying faithful to their heavy, melodic, addicting sound, but not without polishing the album to the point of perfection with some new vocal and techno tricks! Aside from that it's more of the stuff you love, and guitarist Miyako Rey once again proves that she is among the highest echelons of metal guitarists. Track 13 is a sequel to the song "The Nightmare" from their debut album. |
ScarletDate Released: 2/15/2010 Tracks: 13 Sales: 11 Listens: 13 The debut release of Korean hard rock outlet Dollhouse in Black, originally released under Cybercandi® records in 2005 in Asia. U.S. and European 2010 re-release courtesy of Fallen®. The album shows the then fledgling band experimenting and evolving. The songs are varied, dark, sometimes even creepy, and aren't afraid to innovate when needed. |
ConfessionsDate Released: 3/3/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 9 Listens: 17 The sixth album from Whispers to the Fallen. They turn it up with all the right licks, shrieks, and clothing to match... again. Nothing's so different that you'll hate it, but it's undergone a few slight changes. "It's the sixth album," Dmitri says, "By this point, it's evolve or fade away." The changes are noticeable in a more doom-metalesque sound, with a larger emphasis on Dmitri's clean vocals than his equally creepy death growls. ((Track 9 is pronounced CLOHS rather than CLOZE)) |
The Forgotten FallingDate Released: 3/8/2010 Tracks: 5 Sales: 8 Listens: 8 "This is some stuff we wanted to get out of our systems. Our sixth album is currently underway, and it is going to be one of the most awesome records to ever grace the genre. Wait it out a little longer, and it will be upon you. We love you, the fans, eternally, for your support on our twisted journey." "Special thanks to: Dollhouse in Black. Kamsa hamnida! Fallen® The president of Fallen®, X. You crazy bastard ;)." -Taken from the liner notes of this EP. |
Self-titledDate Released: 3/17/2010 Tracks: 12 Sales: 10 Listens: 12 Referred to as "That Album" by fans. Maybe because it was untitled. Maybe because it's Dollhouse in Black's "Different" album. Instead of the dark, nu-metal sound of "Scarlet" the band's 2007 sophomore album has a more alternative sound, albeit still dark. Many fans claim that the following album took the best of both previous efforts and meshed them. Fallen® is currently localizing the third album, as well as recording the all-new fourth album. |
AlbionDate Released: 3/19/2010 Tracks: 14 Sales: 21 Listens: 31 The sixth Album. Most bands would settle for a "Best of" at this point, but not The Forgotten Falling. Everything they are is amplified full-force; the riffs are bone-crushing, the melodies can make angels cry, the solos are faster than light, and it all culminates in what's possibly the most epic opus the band has ever written: The symphonic, crushing closer "Children of Alma". Also includes the acoustic interlude "Sharon's Rose", the grand instrumental "Borealis", and the uptempo "Unleashed." |
Suicide Bride- SingleDate Released: 4/1/2010 Tracks: 4 Sales: 6 Listens: 8 The successful single from the album "Confessions". Also includes a few demos from the upcoming album. According to Whispers frontman Dmitri Oskolov, the new album is "A lot less emotionally heavy-handed than 'Confessions' was" and "More like our earlier stuff; just pure goth melodic death metal. Overall, it's gonna be just more fun." |
One Last DreamDate Released: 4/3/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 10 "Yes, Sanguine Symphony is gone. Seth Rodney is with Whispers to the Fallen, Wayne and I are playing in The Forgotten Falling, and Ronnie just became a father. But, in the midst of all this, we found the time to unleash one last dream for the fans. Our fates have been sealed, and Sanguine Symphony is at rest. These are our last tales, and with it, we continue down our own ways. Thank you for supporting us and believing in us." -Hayden Frasco |
Boku no BushidoDate Released: 4/8/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 7 Listens: 7 The debut album from Samurai-Metal band Wakizashi. Title translates to "My code of Honor". Song topics includes epic samurai battles, honor, Ritual Suicide, and Shintou spirits. |
BloodsplittenDate Released: 4/17/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 4 Listens: 11 The seventh album from Whispers returns to the sound of some of the early albums. "'Confessions' was really emotional and serious," Guitarist Virgil Levli comments, "This one is just heavy and in your face, not to mention it's faster and there's more shredding." Includes the demos released on the last single, now in the form of finished songs, of course. |
SomberDate Released: 4/17/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 6 Listens: 12 The third album from Dollhouse in Black and the last album to be recorded and marketed under Cybercandi® records back in 2009. Widely regarded as the perfect blend of the harder sound of Scarlet mixed with the cleaner stylings of the untitled album, somber is the work of a band firmly planted behind their identity. |
The Broken HourDate Released: 5/2/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 10 Listens: 10 It's been forever, and DeathBreth has been largely silent. But now they're back, and with a vengeance. Enter "The Broken Hour" the band's 7th studio album. They go darker and heavier (Is that even possible?!?) than they did on "The Eyes of the Dragon", but they retain the melodic harmonies and massive choruses that made it a success. They even take a swing at a slow-tempo all-clean-vocals power ballad: "The Lies That Bind" about singer Chainsaw's recent relationship. |
It's Never SayonaraDate Released: 5/7/2010 Tracks: 18 Sales: 13 Listens: 22 The sequel to what's possibly the album that defined a career: It's finally here. The Forgotten Falling have combined elements of Death, Progressive, and Trance metal to create the most ambitious and epic album yet. It's divided into three parts. Part 1 is most akin to the sound of the original This Is Sayonara, shining in pop-hooks and smooth melodies. Part 2 is darker and heavier, featuring some of the most brutal material yet. Part 3 is when the two are entwined. Prepare. |
HauntedDate Released: 5/27/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 7 Listens: 13 The fourth album from Korean goth rockers Dollhouse in Black is their first album to be recorded on U.S. shores at Fallen® Records. Without a doubt the darkest album yet, the lyrics are aggressive, confusing, and at times sadistic (For Dollhouse in Black). Produced and mixed by Hayden Frasco of the Forgotten Falling at Fallen® Records. |
Take-OutDate Released: 6/20/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 4 Listens: 7 Beijing Bling's back with his third album, Take-Out. The first track is inspired by those moments we've all had when while eating some Chinese food, you have a suspicion that the piece of meat in your hands isn't all that it seems... |
Eden Going UnderDate Released: 6/24/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 5 Listens: 6 Where has Dying Unholy been? Frontwoman Angelica Duon's not telling, but the long inactive band (so people thought) is launching themselves back into the spotlight with their newest thrashing hardcore epic. Eden Going Under capitalizes on Dying Unholy's more melodic sound, but puts the emphasis back on odd time signatures, creating a blend of groove metal rhythms, prog metal melodies, and hardcore brutality. |
Metalhead PartyDate Released: 6/30/2010 Tracks: 11 Sales: 3 Listens: 4 CHMMO was so busy on the South Texas death tour that they forgot to get in the studio. This is them at their finest; rocking with I-don't-give-a-shit-abandon, and returning to their old-school punk thrashing, humorous roots. The cover photo was taken by Hayden Frasco of The Forgotten Falling when he was a kid. |
Shadows of SeppukuDate Released: 7/11/2010 Tracks: 10 Sales: 5 Listens: 5 The second album from Samurai rockers Wakizashi. This album is a lot darker in tone from the band's debut "Boku no Bushido" and sports more minor key riffs. A highlight is the instrumental "Hikari" which blends traditional Japanese scales and instrumentation with keyboards and distorted guitars. |
AphelionDate Released: 7/13/2010 Tracks: 15 Sales: 6 Listens: 7 By the 8th album, most bands know what they're doing. The Forgotten Falling's 8th album, Aphelion, defines progressive trance metal. Layered with synths, guitars, screams, harmonies, and drums both acoustic and electronic, and bristling with epic melodies, ambient breakdowns, and solos that would make any self-respecting guitarist cry, Aphelion will take you to the outer fringes of metal. And, as the 17-minute title track suggests, as far away from the physical Earth as you can possibly go. |
