At the Center of It All by bigPEBBLE

Date Released 5/18/2008       Sales 10       Listens 9

The second offering from the group and the first since their name change, "At the Center of it All" is a bit more experimental and eclectic. The distinctive vocals of lead singer Alison Jones are still front and center, but the band's playing is less structured and more open to improvisation on this record.

"This is my favorite album from bigPEBBLE. The album artwork is amazing and the music is only better. My favorite song is Woken, it is amazing with the message it sends."

LovelessSounds

"Takes off right where "Days End" leaves off, but at the cross roads, chose the way less traveled. I love the way the different lines flowed in and out and seemed never to be the same, yet always fit together/ "

theHoseman

"'Woken' is a revelation. The guitars build to a stirring hornets' nest of sound and fury. bigPEBBLE puts the "power" in power ballad. "

Lettucehead

"Never thought the name change was altogether necessary but I guess I understand why you did it. Still, if you ask me, it's those clowns who should have changed their name. Love "Helsinki Blue" by the way, it makes me think of this chick I met there with ginormous boobies and pierced nipples. Mmmm, booobies. Also: love that cover!"
