Ramgoat Starr is best known as the lovable drummer for the flock 'n' roll band the Bleatles. After the Bleatles broke up in 1970, few expected much musically from Ramgoat. After all, he had sung lead on only a handful of Bleatles songs and had written hardly any of those. However, he surprised everyone by becoming not only a successful pop crooner, but a respected actor as well.

Departing from his flock 'n' roll roots, Starr delivered a collection of standards -- partly to please his parents and partly on a "double-dog" dare. Each song is arranged by a different musician, including one track by former band mate Poll McCardigan. The album fared reasonably well, peaking at No. 22 on the Buckboard album chart. |
