Band Bio
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Kings of Rock started when 2 outcasts (AdamLacnce Curie and Johnny "Crasher" Thirten), who were also Muscians, wanted to start a band. They hung up flyers saying "We are looking for a bassist and a drummer that's had 2-6 years of expierence playing". They ended out having Adam Harold, who was the most popular kid in middle school, as their bassist and Alex King, who was the captain of the basketball team, as their drummer. Alex had 4 years of expirience and Adam had 2 years of expirience. They were both hired. The band started around 2002, which was when they were all in 7th grade.
Drummer: Alex King
In 2003, a year after they started, they hired Vicky Curie, AdamLance's sister, who had amazing talents on the keyboard.
In 2009, they hired Rick Falen as there Rhythm Guitarist.
Sadly, on March 21, 2012, lead guitarist Johnny "Crasher" Thirten died of an unusual case of brain cancer. A few weeks after the diagnosis, Crasher had to return to the hospital, due to a huge case of long term memory loss. He was 23.
After the death of Crasher, his brother took his place as lead guitarist.
On March 2nd, 2012, Kings of Rock officially disbanded.

Tracks: 6 This is Kings of Rocks new cd, Body I Occupy. This is their fifth Cd and their next album will be their greatest hits. This just has a bunch of Covers of The Naked Brothers Band and a cover of Trapzones You Wish! Luckily, this album has an actually written song called How to Be Me. It was written by Buddy, and he wrote it in 1981, which was before he formed The Silver Stones and obviously before he died on 9/3/08 from falling off a cliff and getting stabbed in the back by a big pointy rock. |
