We Never Had a Reason to Fear in the First Place
Date Released: 1/1/2012
Tracks: 14 Fragment Shelter returns with their 11th studio album and a slightly modified line-up. They've also been trying to take on a redefined sound in their efforts to progress as an alt. rock band. We Never Had a Reason to Fear in the First Place is Shane Osiris's latest masterpiece lyrically, because this time his lyrics are more personal and close to his heart than ever. This records features hits like "All Over Again", "You're So Sexy", and "(Have I Told You Lately) How Much I Love You". This is Fragment Shelter's first record with a 4-man line-up. After founding members Fred Jones and Hal Denton left the group in the Fall, they replaced only their drummer. Everyone say hello to Brian Jeffries, the band's new drummer. "He's got a lot of potential!", raved Shane Osiris in an interview. Oh, and Happy New Year 2012!!!! All Over Again (Single)
Date Released: 12/5/2011
Tracks: 1 Fragment Shelter has had a rough year. Two of their original members left the group in the Fall. They've also had trouble writing new material due to lack of inspiration. During these rough times, Shane Osiris is quoted as saying "We've been through a lot. Collectively, we are now stronger for all we've endured over the year. We will miss Fred and Hal, but I wish them the best in their musical careers. I've learned a lot about myself and I've grown tremendously. Fragment Shelter has not disappeared and will be releasing more new material soon." All Over Again is a song about fear and regret. Sometimes we are so unsure of the right decisions to make that we second guess ourselves. Life is stressful, and sometimes there is no way around it. Sometimes, each day can feel like a nightmare that is happening all over again. Learning to cope with these issues in a healthy way is the best way around it. Enjoy! On this record, we can see a more mature side to the band while still hanging onto their fun side. The Placebo Effect
Date Released: 9/27/2010
Tracks: 11 Wildly different than anything this band has done before. FS takes on a much heavier side. The Placebo Effect is a concept album where nothing is as it seems. It will go in one direction, then completely change course with a few twists. It might scare the shit out of you so don't listen in the dark. The Original Underdogs

Tracks: 15 Here is Fragment Shelter's long-awaited 5th album. This is the limited edition follow up to Smooth Sailing. Happy New Year 2010!! This is the more harder rock edge to the band than many fans may be used to. "We needed to take a break from the soft-rock beach theme music, granted we love doing that, but the music needed to be shifted toward a more rockin' edge, we're still the same band as we ever were, and will return to our old style again eventually" -Shane Osiris |
