Band Bio
Automaton Transfusion® formed in the early '90s when grunge/alternative music was in and pop/rock were on the way out. Their music videos were predominately a staple on the animated TV series Beavis and Butt-Head and the videos were a favorite of the dynamic duo.
In 1997 lead singer Jayson Brite was hospitilized for overdosing on Xanax® and Valium®. Jayson was in the hospital's ICU ward for almost 2 weeks before being pronounced stable and moved to a private room. After 6 months of recovery, Jayson was ready to get back on with his life and having a near-death experience awoke him to the fact that his life was nothing to play around with. He proclaims that to this day he is now 99.9% drug and alcohol free...with the exception of a few "rolled ones" every now and then.
Hopefully A/T will now stay on track and focused on what's most important to them...music. They've made millions of fans around the globe and we are certain that there are many more to come. They've sold out EVERY concert they've performed, t-shirts and other A/T merchandise is always in demand and sometimes hard to find. Hopefully you will be able to purchase items online in the near future.
Having sold over 5 million records world-wide and their ninth album on the way, we can only say that Automaton Transfusion is sittin' on top of the world and doesn't look like they're giving up their seat anytime soon!
