Scorched Earth Campaign
Date Released: 2/10/2012
Tracks: 10 After the suffocatingly heavy, mortally slow-paced songs of "The Factory Sessions", backed as they were with recordings of actual machinery, Steel Beneath Flesh breaks loose from those brooding, plodding chains to deliver a new album. Titled "Scorched Earth Campaign," SEC features a slab of new material that is, for the most part, at least double the speed of the average TFS track. The band absolutely blitzes through this new set of tracks that condemn the weaknesses of a flesh-based humanity, the rise of superior technology, and the end times where the two will inevitably fight for dominance. SBF lists its influences for this record as "the Mutants Amok novels by Mark Grant and the movies Death Machine and Virus." Features what will undoubtedly become a cyber-speed-metal classic, "Necrotech Destroyer", whose lyrics are printed below: Blasphemous cells Aberrant creation Biochemical hell Mutant abomination IT HAS ESCAPED FROM THE LAB THERE IS NO TRACE ON THE MAP THE TRACKING DEVICES HAVE FAILED THE BEAST IS NOW FREE FROM ITS JAIL NECROTECH DESTROYER NECROTECH DESTROYER A killing machine Vile experimentation A warmonger's dream Cellular extermination IT HAS ESCAPED FROM THE LAB THERE IS NO TRACE ON THE MAP THE TRACKING DEVICES HAVE FAILED THE BEAST IS NOW FREE FROM ITS JAIL THE KILLING SPREE HAS BEGUN THERE IS NOWHERE LEFT TO RUN THE BEAST'S HUNGER NOW MUST BE FED HUMANITY'S TURN TO BE BLED NECROTECH DESTROYER NECROTECH DESTROYER NECROTECH DESTROYER NECROTECH DESTROYER |

The Factory Sessions
Date Released: 10/22/2011
Tracks: 13 Deciding that their music was not inhuman enough, not heavy and cold and unforgiving enough, Steel Beneath Flesh decided to record all their drum parts for their new album inside factories full of machines-- auto assembly plants, metal foundries, manufacturing warehouses. The end result is a ponderous, imposing album full of constant rumbling machine-thunder behind an already punishing double-bass kit-- images of armies of automatons marching over a barren earth are impossible to keep from one's mind while listening to "The Factory Sessions"... the robot workers are basically additional band members on the album. The inclusion of a Nine Inch Nails cover might at first glance seem like an oddly mainstream selection, but when you hear how the track has been converted into a blisteringly fast juggernaut helmed by a shrieking madman carrying on about "my machine, it's part of me, it's inside of me" and "the me that you know is now made up of wires," the decision and assimilation become clear. Includes two live tracks recorded during the U.S. leg of the War of the Unrepentant World Tour. Produced by Remy Brecht. Released by Formerwageslave Records. |

DEMO-LITION EP
Date Released: 8/1/2011
Tracks: 4 The lyrics and imagery are a bit ham-fisted, the recording quality is rather 4-track in nature, but you can sense the dormant killing machine lurking inside the clunky exterior of this brand-new band. Two years of countless live shows later, and the weak flesh exterior was shed to reveal the shining metal endoskeleton beneath in the form of "False Fiber Optic Idols". Nevertheless, this demo remains an interesting document of SBF's formative days. Included as a free bonus disc for all pre-orders of SBF's second album, "Dissect Your Mind". |

Dissect Your Mind
Date Released: 8/1/2011
Tracks: 13 SBF have coldly analyzed their debut album for signs of weakness and refined their killing program to assemble a more lethal set of industrial metal brutality. On their sophomore effort, "Dissect Your Mind," the tempos are faster, the riffs are more blistering, the vocals more tortured. The entire production sounds like a man being torn apart by sentient machinery from a factory in hell. DYM is a merciless cyborg crushing a human skull under its foot-- forever. Includes two live tracks recorded at the Antigoon II festival. All pre-orders of the album receive a free copy of SBF's original demo recordings, the "DEMO-LITION" EP. Produced by Remy Brecht. Released by Formerwageslave Records. |

False Fiber Optic Idols
Date Released: 4/25/2011
Tracks: 11 "False Fiber Optic Idols" is an ocean of tech-speed lava vomited upon the earth by an angry god of bile and silicon. There are no heartfelt melodic interludes or classically-inspired breakdowns here. This is raw rage from the iron pits, a coal fire burning for fifty years only to roar forth and engulf entire cities. SBF offers no chance for respite and no hope of salvation. BURN!!! Produced by Remy Brecht. Released by Formerwageslave Records. |
