Band Bio
UncleDuffRecords was originally started in Zandergriff Migg's basement studio as a vehicle for releasing his own music with the Parliament of Owls. Over time it has grown to include several unusual acts and expanded into other areas of the art/music world.
The Label's headquarters are located in Zander's Minneapolis warehouse district studio, BassmentFile. Sharing space in the same building is an art gallery/design firm run by Van Q, Helectricart.
A second studio was built on Zander's small farm just Northwest of Grand Marais, MN and named BarnFile...since it was built in the existing barn on the property.
To further keep everything in-house and maintain the DIY ethos, Zander formed the publishing company, Headphone Music, run out of the UncleDuff offices in MPLS.
Also, sharing space in the BassmentFile warehouse is The Jundland Club, a 25 hundred capacity music venue, with a smaller 200 capacity room as well.
