Band Bio

Despite seeming to have the name and aesthetic of a goth band, The Honest Somnambulists (Say THAT 10 times fast, are a gritty, experimental, noir punk band brought together through various gritty alleyways and late night free cult movie showings. Honest Ed is their charismatic leader, melting the mic with raw Iggyesque growls and deep monotones, all while tearing up the stage in his ever-present leathers. Theodore Tug jams out sharp punk riffs and leaps off every high surface he can find. Black Ross sticks to the amps like double-sided tape, rockin' the bass in the traditional fashion (mop of hair shaking over face, and never smiling), while Jack Nimble is a tornado of streamers, spikes, smiles and shattered sticks behind his kit.

If they ever wake up, they're killer.

INFLUENCES
Honest Ed: Iggy & The Stooges, The Cramps, The Damned
Theodore Tug: Black Flag, Bad Brains, The Misfits
Black Ross: The Ramones, Einsturzende Neubauten, Joy Division
Jack Nimble: The Sex Pistols, Dropkick Murphys , The Clash

Rooftop Wreckage

Date Released: 3/10/2011   Tracks: 5
Sales: 10   Listens: 12

A rough little EP full of raucous riffs and harsh grit. Grainy as our favorite German Expressionist film, with spit and swagger in our monochrome lyrics. Included is "Rooftop Wreckage", a messy camcorder film which is pretty much just a concert we had on a roof of an abandoned factory in our town. Includes interviews with some drunk punx, a furious Honest Ed throwing rusty paint cans at a heckler, and a highly intoxicated Jack Nimble chasing chicks with Mohawks. Fun for the whole family!
