Fait Accompli was born from a bottle of Cachaca and an intense love for Toni Halliday, Edie Sedgwick and the sound of a cell door slamming in Central Indiana in late 2002. After making a name for themselves locally, vocalist/programmer Aaron O'Blivion and guitarist Isabella DiSheveled caught the ear of Animus records president Justice Shay. While greatly entertained by the crowd demanded "Pat Benatar's Gonna Kick Your A**" at the end of their show at Double Door, he was more intrigued by what would evolve into their first single "Burn The Dreamhouse Down". Taking a chance, he signed the then duo and promoted the hell out of them. An EP was released in the Netherlands to huge acclaim and demands for the band to play live. Enter drummer Ted Samson and bassist Dex Garcia to create the full sound live that the duo had been craving. With more freedom to focus on vocal styling and keyboards, Fait took the band to the next level and reocrded their first album, Gentleman's Agreement. the rest is history in Europe. The album won awards for best album in Spain and the Netherlands and developed a large following in Germany. Now back home with a crowds love to win, the newly remastered album is here and the fans were speaking for themsleves.Their Fait was sealed...with a huge black lipped kiss. The next year brought great success in North and South America. In 2009, frontman Aaron O'Blivion was a guest artist on the single Rust and Mildew by Eccentric Arcade and the band was asked to write and record a song for the indie film One Man's Folly. The track China White Heartbreak was recorded, but never used due to control issues from their label. The 2 situations led to the split from Animus Recordings and left them without a label. Enter RA Records founder Rikki Milligan and a new contract. With more creative control than ever, the band released Gallows Hill and are fully exploring their artistic potential.

Fait Accompli presents Infinitum, their second release for RA Records. Each track stands alone, yet combine to tell the story of a young man facing his mortality. Each track has it's own style ranging from upbeat acoustic to straight up rock with the unmistakable F.A. sound lurking around every corner. Guitarist Isabella DiSheveled says that this is "the most meaningful and satisfying expreience any of us as musicians have ever had". The band agrees.
The vanishing point draws closer. Followed by regret, the hours, the days, the end has been set.
