Band Bio
Built on 23 years of anger, lust, rage, sex, drugs, and living for far too long out of the back of Rex's Van, Truth Finders have finally managed to sucker a label into giving them a chance to get their music out there.
Frontman Sexasaurus Rex gathered this messed up gang of ne'er-do-wells one night at the Dive Bar, and they've been in each other's hair and playing wherever they can ever since. Big Rob was the first to sign on, sexing up the ladies with his smooth bass licks and enormous... heart. Jamalien on lead guitar can drink with one hand, play with the other, and still find time to kick somebody's ass in between sets. And then there is Zombie - drummer, roadie, alcoholic, brother. This team of four is dragged around by the ears by manager Furious Grace. She is their bro, their wingman, their House Mother, and their compatriot.
Truth Finders. Give them a listen!

Southern Lobotomy
Date Released: 8/6/2011
Tracks: 9 Thanks to a lot of in-fighting and misunderstandings as well as both Rob & Jam sleeping with the same cougar band-aid, Truthfinders ended up breaking up, making up, breaking up, and pasting themselves back together again. It took everything Sexasaurus Rex had not to tell them both to fuck off and just get a new guitarist and bass player. But they'd been through too much not to sort it out, and bros before hos, bitches. They finally found Zombie and started making music again. It was angry and lusty and good. Felt like a "Southern Lobotomy" as Rex put it - no more thinking with the brain down below. |

Lie to Me
Date Released: 11/7/2010
Tracks: 3 These songs were found on a scratched up tape under the driver's seat of Rex's van. Digitally remastered in the studio, a 5th of vodka is recommended while listening, as that is what was probably consumed while recording. |

Lying in the Bathtub
Date Released: 9/23/2010
Tracks: 11 This almost autobiographical first release of Metalcore band Truth Finders will knock the metal hair right off your head as you thrash, mosh, crowd surf and fight your way through every track. Don't let the titles fool you - this is one f'ed up mess of an album, inspired by Rex's 6-month bender and Big Rob's string of heartbreaking love fests. We're pretty sure we lost Zombie somewhere in the poconos, but that's conjecture. He's probably asleep in the trunk of Jamalien's car. |
