Celestial Forms
Date Released: 2/7/2012
Tracks: 5 A musical experiment from The Great God Conspiracy. One could call it an album, but it isn't exactly that. " Celestial Forms" is the result of TGGC jamming with 8 string guitars, and 6 string basses. Djent-y riffs; jazz fusion breaks; increasingly odd time signatures; drum poly rhythms are everywhere in the sections, as the band refers to them. They are not traditional "songs" at all. As a bonus track, the band has included a cover of Captain Beefheart's "Her Eyes Are A Blue Million Miles". The band has completely transformed the song into a odd, heavy sonic assault. Recorded at Music From The Crypt Records Produced/Mixed by TGGC |
