I am thirty-one, and have lost my storm.
I read wordy books by great men, and tried to think like them.
But I am not a great man.
I am thirty-one, and engage in windy arguments.
So full of hot air,
But they can't compare to the gale force winds of that storm.
I feel alone, and have to set aside time to pray.
Run around trying to get there,
Never to stop, turn around and stare up in the air.

I was innocent.
I was unafraid.
And I wish when my mom called me in, I never went home.

In the dark places I demanded light from the night.
Raging with that storm I saw magic, my words became spirit.
For magic was a five year old boy;
And a thunderstorm,
And a rain drop,
And a lightning bolt,
And a thunder clap,
And a whisper,
In a gust of wind.
Then my mom called me home, to come in.
