If Elmore Leonard and Richard O'Brien co-wrote 'Rain Man' it would be 'Prime!'
A rock opera of Riemannian geometry, curved space theorems, prime number generators, international intrigue, security codes and the collapse of the entire worlds financial system.
John Hardy, a young man with severe autism lives out his days in a nonstop fugue of equations and predictions, calculating Pi and Phi to several orders of magnitude in his head. Professor Gregor Bombieri of the Princeton Institute has taken an interest in Hardy's predictions and when Hardy stumbles upon the solution to the Holy Grail of mathematics, the Riemann Hypothesis, Bombieri begins to fear for their lives.
The engines of finance are kept secure through the generation of hundred digit prime numbers. There is no known formula for accurately calculating prime numbers, which is what makes the system work. The time it would take to break the codes is so prohibitive as to make it impossible...
...That is assuming there is no known formula.
When Hardy's mind finds that solution it doesn't take long for the world of covert corporate espionage to find out.
Soon Hardy and Bombieri are on the run, the targets of not only every major player in the Banking industry, but several organized crime syndicates and power hungry leaders of developing nations.
To tell any more would spoil the story.
The script, written by Frey is being adapted for the stage by Zandergriff Miggs and Van Q. Plans are under way to open at the Fitzgerald Theatre in St. Paul, MN with options to take the show on the road this summer.
The final drafts are nearing completion with musical composition provided by Miggs, Q and Stilton Colby (of Gorgon Zola).

*John Hardy [Riki Milligan from Eccentric Arcade] : the autistic mathematical savant around which everything in this story revolves.
*Professor Gregor Bombieri [Zandergriff Miggs] : Leads a top secret study of curved space singularities in search of non linear results in 4th dimension increments funded thru a research grant from AmeriBank.
*Wellton Benjamin [the Emperor from Funk Void White] : Cutthroat CEO of AmeriBank, the nations largest financial institution. Heavily in debt to Angelo Polo due to his weakness for gambling, women and cola.
*Mr. Jimmy [T'Cor Lockdred from the Parliament of Owls] : Takes care of things for Benjamin and does all the under the table dirty work for Ameribank. Former Cabrizzi family underboss.
*Angelo Polo [Saul Severe from Tusken] : Don of the Cabrizzi family syndicate. Owner of several casinos, nightclubs and garbage collection companies.
*Tessa Racht [Taxine Fontaine from Taxine Fontaine & the Park Ave. Sluts] : Nightclub singer at Club Alto Polo and girlfriend of Polo. (Also a well placed, deeply embedded agent of the Treasury Dept.)
*Col. Javier Jesus Estebon [Otis san Salvador from the Parliament of Owls] : A Central American dictator with delusions of grandeur. A major trafficker of controlled substances into the U.S.
*Lenny Elm [Fritz Vollenbach from Dementerhosen] : An outlaw biker/former bounty hunter, now on personal retainer as Estebon's attache/bodyguard.
*Marshal Dunbar [Frey from UncleDuffRecords] : Detective in the Baltimore PD.
*Quiggly [Hayden Frasco from the Forgotten Falling & Sanguine Symphony] : A street tough skater kid who is Dunbar's confidential informant. Unbeknown to Dunbar he is also the leading underground hacker with contracts from AmeriBank to test corporate security...(and test the security of competitors.)
*Paddy Donnoly [D.T. Shakes from Secret Scurrility] : Bartender at Club Alto Polo. A former IRA freedom fighter with an axe to grind and a cause to fund.

Tracks: 18 An empty stage. Gorgon Zola covering Queens "Rock It" filters in. The curtain drops, then opens to...John Hardy alone in his room, numbers floating all around him. He reaches to grab one. Irrational as it is, it is the final piece to his mental puzzle. And thus begins Prime! From here the story untangles itself in a loop of connections. -all songs by Z.
