Band Bio
Forgotten Falling Band members/Japanese sisters Miyako and Yumishi Rey make their Power-duo debut! What could be the result of Yumishi's Keyboard vibes and Miyako's White-hot guitar leads? Some kick ass, major-key, arenacore, dance metal! The programmed dance drums are guaranteed to get you bouncing, all while the licks and the Cascada-esque keyboards lead the party. And for the first time, Yumishi Rey tests her singing abilities in the arena. Rock on!
REY TRIVIA: The "Rey" family's name was Resukei, but was changed to Resnovich when they moved to Russia. Unable to decide which last name to use when she first joined Whispers to the Fallen, Miyako donned "Rey" as her stage name as a homage to her dual identity. Yumishi also took up the stage name.
INFLUENCES: Cascada, Escape the Day, Chieco Kawabe, Lady Gaga, Children of Bodom... yeah it can happen.

Date Released: 1/19/2011
Tracks: 9 Manta Rey takes a more experimental approach on their second album. While the songs on the first album were fun dance grooves, the songs here are more akin to pulsing trance, with distorted guitars. Songs are longer (7 minutes average) and more ambient. Also sure to be wicked hits at your next rave. |
