[FATMAN] We've got one, two, three, four, five VERY sexy ladies in the studio right now, so either my escort service REALLY came through for me this time, or The Dollhouse Girls are here! Ladies, let's jump right into it. You've been together now for... well, I should let you take this; who wants to tell the story?

[SHANNA] I can go. Well, basically, we all were at UM. Uh, Trina, Jalissa and I were all in the Sunsations, and I think we were at a men's home game against... I forget...

[TRINA] I think it was Duke.

[SHANNA] Yeah, Duke. It's a few years ago, they all start to run together. Anyway, one of the songs we were dancing to that year was Bad Girl by Danity Kane--

[FATMAN] Kinda sets the tone, doesn't it?

[SHANNA] Yeah! Yeah, sure does. But yeah, we were changing out at the end of the game, and it started running through my head. So I started singing it, and Trina and Jalissa joined in on the harmony.

[TRINA] And I kinda surprised myself because I knew Missy Elliott's part. I didn't realize I knew the whole thing.

[JALISSA] We all really surprised each other, too, because none of us had ever heard each other sing, so to find out that we did and that we sounded great together, it was like, "whoa! Where did THIS come from?"

[FATMAN] So you start practicing, I think you did a few shows around campus, right?

[TRINA] Yeah, we played a handful here and there, but it sounded kinda flat.

[SHANNA] We needed more depth to our sound. We were doing some decent songs, like, we had already written "Dig This" and "Getting U In 2 Me," but they didn't quite sound like they do now.

[JALISSA] I knew Ashley from an independent dance group that had performed at a campus event about a year before...

[ASHLEY] Good ol' Hip Hop Phenomenon!

[FATMAN] Like the BT song?

[ASHLEY] Exactly!

[FATMAN] Nice!

[JALISSA] So I asked her if she wanted to join, because I knew she had the vocal talent and the dancing skill.

[ASHLEY] I was like, "are you kidding me? Absolutely! AND I've got this other friend, Victoria, you should totally hear her, too."

[VICTORIA] And she dragged me along for the audition COMPLETELY unprepared!

[ASHLEY] But you nailed it.

[VICTORIA] Hell yeah, I did!

[FATMAN] So the rest is history, and you're back in the studio after doing a nationwide media tour... will this new album spawn a concert tour?

[SHANNA] I think so. I HOPE so. I think we're to a point now where, even if we haven't had any major, like, number-one hits, we're at least popular enough to go on tour with some bigger acts, and the label has said they want to get us out there, so we're thinking this summer, you'll probably see us on the road.

[FATMAN] When's the album coming out?

[TINA] May 12th. It's called "Ear Candy," and it's... it's hot!

[VICTORIA] VERY hot!
