Band Bio
Fistful of Firearms is the second brain-child of Pointless Records, the first being Third Wave Ska group Going Up The Down Escalator. By far the most successful of the label's many talents, FoF's oft-satirical view of the Heavy Metal genre puts them in line with other "Comedy Rock" acts such as Dethklok, Spinal Tap, and Gwar.
The group's first official "song" was actually 5 minutes of Lead Singer Big J growling the word "fish" in the most guttural way possible. The track was refined into the track "Fish!" on the Sandwich EP, thanks to comedian and close friend Donut Milbeck.
Since then, the band has constantly poked fun at the Metal community with songs like "Heavy Metal Patty Melt" and "Melt Your Face With Metal".
Fistful of Firearms is:
Jason "Big J" Schultez (Vocals, Lead Guitar)
Travis "T-Rave" Gideon (Vocals, Guitar)
Andrew "Android" Hall (Drums)
Jon "Monkey Toes" Lightfoot (Bass Guitar)
Brandon "Donut" Milbeck (Lyricist)

Peace Through Superior Firepower
Date Released: 2/21/2010
Tracks: 11 Many years from now, Fistful of Firearms' debut album will largely be remembered for it's satirical view of United States politics and foreign policies in the early 21st century, as well as face melting heavy metal and honorable tributes to some of the all-time greatest anti-war Rock songs. Even the album title speaks volumes about our modern world; songs like "Current Affairs" compare the U.S. to ancient Rome while "The Right To Arm Bears" criticizes gun control. This is FoF's Metal Ultimatum. |

The Sandwich EP
Date Released: 11/23/2009
Tracks: 6 This EP started it all - Fistful of Firearms' original ultimate inside joke. This collection of tracks was originally written by the crew to waste some time, before the possibility of a real band ever even arose. |
