Band Bio
Hailing from Washington, D.C, Decrease Magnum was the start of a Glam Metal genre, but Metallica defeated Decrease Magnum with thrash metal, and it was A LOT better, no insult intended. Getting back to the point, the people in the band are Vergil Mannings, singer/rhythm guitar, Fred Brandonson, lead guitar, Bill Jones, bassist and Jake Carter, drummer. They started in 1978 and made their first CD in March of 1980. On February 18th, 2012, Decrease Magnum released their final album titled "(Afraid) All Night Long." The final song was a message from Jake Carter, who was thanking all the fans for all the support in the past 34 years. He also mentioned that what they just listened to was in fact the last album.
