Not since A-ha, has a Norwegian band attracted so much attention with the young (and not so young) ladies of the Norseland. Lead singer Fortinbras Gundersen met his Danish bandmates in the prestigious Copenhagen School of Art & Design. Their unique blend of rough and tumble hard driving rock coupled with savvy lyrics and enterprising harmonies give The Daneweegians a nefarious ultrapop appeal. But don't be fooled. The Daneweegians are for real and are making their presence known throughout Europe. An American tour is in the works.
