Founded in March 2009, Long Bong Records [aka "LBR"] was created with the vision of becoming the record label of choice for extreme heavy metal acts, concentrating on the stoner-, doom-, thrash- and prog-metal genres. With a focus on artist development and quality output, LBR has made great strides towards this goal and has quickly positioned itself as one of the most respected labels in the industry.
LBR has also used this influence to launch the successful Merchants Of Metal festival series, providing a showcase for both up-and-coming as well as established bands across the metal landscape.
In late August 2009, LBR spun off a new label, Myrinx Records, focusing on less metallic fare, allowing LBR to concentrate solely on heavy music.

soundaddiction
Date Released: 3/31/2010
Tracks: 12 Math-metal titans Zeroth's latest 'soundaddiction' serves as an interesting counterpoint to their other releases. Comprised entirely of previously-unheard demos, 'soundaddiction' chronicles the band's development and songwriting process by showing what didn't make the cut. Make no mistake, they are not ragged cast-offs; while some tracks lack lyrics, these are 12 fully-formed slabs of prog-metal, featuring performances on-par with the band's proper catalog. A must-have for fans of the band. |

LBR Wishes You A Very Metal Christmas
Date Released: 12/11/2009
Tracks: 10 Nine of Long Bong Records top bands deliver their interpretations on ten classic Christmas songs on 'LBR Wishes You A Very Metal Christmas'. Zeroth's polyrhythmic take on "Jingle Bells" opens the disc in fine style, and while all the tracks are infinitely heavier than the originals, the band/song pairings are well-chosen, and restraint and respect prevail. Closing out the disc is the one nod to the headbanging stereotype, with a group version of "We Wish You A Metal Christmas". |
