Band Bio
Another screamo band emerging from the LA scene. They were signed when they got an ordinary skate park cheering and screaming along with them during an ordinary gig.
They blend emo and hardcore in a fascinatingly melodic way, with the tortured vocals leading the rest of the band in what can only be called a Symphony.
With lyrics like, "Draw this Blade/Bleed my Sins Away," and "This heart I held/I couldn't save" Sanguine Symphony should have no trouble appealing to their target audience.
They were started when the frontman of the band, Hayden Frasco, recruited his friends Ronnie F. Howard and Wayne Smith Jr. to play in his emo band. When bassist Angelica Duon was found, the foursome wrote their first songs. The band was supposed to be emo, but their sound turned out to be screamo. Liking it better, the band wrote an album and tried their luck.
Angelica Duon left the band recently. She started her own band with her own friends, Dying Unholy. Anyway, the next bassist, Seth Rodney, was a fan of the band and was discovered while humming one of their songs in the same McDonald's that Frasco happened to be in. The band then got back on track.
Sanguine Symphony broke up after two EPs and two albums with Seth Rodney. Frontman Hayden Frasco and drummer Wayne Smith Jr. went with rising band the Forgotten Falling and Seth Rodney went with Whispers to the Fallen a few years afterward. The official breakup of Sanguine Symphony was announced several years after it happened, with one last Sanguine Symphony album recorded and released in secret as a melodramatic farewell.
However, behind a veil of secrecy at Fallen Records, Sanguine Symphony has been entirely reformed with all-new members! They were all studio musicians working for the company who happened to be fans of the band, and now they are Sanguine Symphony´s 2nd incarnation!
After the release of Sanguine Symphony's first album under the new lineup, the band was signed by TMTYTF records. Fallen believed that it was better for the band, as the new lineup was essentially a new band and Fallen was too busy to nurture them. The company had a good relationship with TMTYTF records, and they had a better plan for the new band.
"I feel kinda pathetic," Admits new frontwoman Brianna Knight, "Getting famous on someone else´s idea, but the old members have been supporting us. They´ve given us complete control over whatever path Sanguine Symphony takes in the future. To the fans, I promise you this: The new album will kick ass, thank you for staying faithful even when the band wasn´t around (I know we did!) and I´m sorry I´m a girl, 'cause, y'know, Hayden was a guy, but he said I can sing and scream just as well, so take his word for it. Rock on!"

NEW INFLUENCES: Motionless in White, I Am Abomination, Hopes Die Last, The Agonist, A Skylit Drive, For All Those Sleeping, The Devil Wears Prada

The Funeral Chronicles
Date Released: 1/24/2011
Tracks: 12 The Funeral Chronicles takes more influence from the old Sanguine Symphony's more emo-punkish/older post-hardcore sound. Songs are darker, and have more of a focus on dual-guitar melodies and Brianna's beautiful clean vocals than breakdowns. They're also some of the most nonsensical song titles every conceived by the band. Newcomer Ben also adds some melodic keys to the mix. Lastly, it was produced by old SS guitarist Ronnie F. Howard. Also includes live recordings. |

Fallout
Date Released: 9/20/2010
Tracks: 11 The first album under TMTYTF records has the reincarnated Sanguine Symphony turning up the fun factor, so it may seem. There are more jokey song titles, but the brutal songs speak for themselves. Brianna's singing and screaming have also improved since the last album, and there are more solos, as Alex and Chris play fast enough to challenge the most seasoned metal veterans. |

Sanguine Symphony
Date Released: 7/31/2010
Tracks: 10 Sanguine Symphony has been revived! Produced by Ex-frontman Hayden Frasco, the all new SS crew picks up the torch. They throw some more modern screamo trends in, like humorous titles that have nothing in common with the song (Track 5 is actually about being rejected) and 5-star production quality. The guitars are razor-sharp, the drums will crush your face, and Brianna Knight has a voice that kills. Produced by H. Frasco Mixed by X Piano on track 4 by Yumishi Rey. |

One Last Dream
Date Released: 4/3/2010
Tracks: 11 "Yes, Sanguine Symphony is gone. Seth Rodney is with Whispers to the Fallen, Wayne and I are playing in The Forgotten Falling, and Ronnie just became a father. But, in the midst of all this, we found the time to unleash one last dream for the fans. Our fates have been sealed, and Sanguine Symphony is at rest. These are our last tales, and with it, we continue down our own ways. Thank you for supporting us and believing in us." -Hayden Frasco |

Autumn on Fire
Date Released: 8/3/2009
Tracks: 14 Sanguine Symphony gets together on top of The Forgotten Falling for their third studio album. They still haven't changed, except for the better. They've learned a thing or two about working with Whispers to the Fallen, and their songs are now imbued with mind-shattering power. This is Sanguine Symphony at their best; bludgeoning drums back up the soaring guitars, with the lyrics going back to their emo roots. This an album every fan can't miss. |

For the Fans
Date Released: 5/19/2009
Tracks: 6 The second EP from Sanguine Symphony is filled with songs that didn't exactly fit on either of the last two albums or EP. There are live tracks and covers. Enjoy. |

Retaliation
Date Released: 5/18/2009
Tracks: 13 The Screamo entrepreneurs return on their second full-length album. They still haven't moderated their raw angst one bit, and it shows on tracks like "Retaliation (We'll Make Them Pay) " and "There's Always One." Sanguine Symphony just took the pain on their last album. This time, they're retaliating against it all. A large step forward. They also balance the scream/sing ratio to 60:40. |

Ladies and Gentlemen...
Date Released: 4/18/2009
Tracks: 6 The first EP by Sanguine Symphony with bass player Seth Rodney. They keep their fans happy with their trademark red/black color scheme, as well some awesome new tracks. It's more than enough to get psyched up for their next full-length album. The screams are emotional, and the riffs are tight. Enjoy. |

We're Only Here Because You Didn't Want Us
Date Released: 4/10/2009
Tracks: 13 Sanguine Symphony's debut album blends the sorrow and angst of emo with the brutality of screamo, ending with a 12-minute opus of blistering drums, scorching solos, melodic picking, and haunting vocals. The rest of the album shares these traits, as it carries on a theme of broken love and screaming. Truly a very unique and excellent screamo album. |
