Colonel Abstract & The Dangers

   The Future of History

Genre Pyschedelic       Band Created 4/7/2009       Fan Base 8       Total Sales 18

You would never expect a 5-piece guitarless band with a gay couple, a contacts-sporting anonymous leader, and a three-piece vocal consisting of equal parts Nine Inch Nails and Nina Simone to succeed, but the Colonel and his band have been on the circuit for half a decade. The mysterious leader is no more a spectacle then his weird and eclectic group of singer/drummer/harmonica player Sam Greene, electronic musician Ishmael Greene, pianist Abraham O'Toole, and singer/cellist Yoko Sampson. The group is infamous for its fast-paced, narcotic fusion of electronic noise, 60s bubblegum, British goth rock, and classic jazz, and were recently signed to [almost] records.

Here's the latest outta cold storage in the Imperial Warehouses... one for all y' history majors. We've been experimenting with some new instruments, themes, languages... Kinda a soul/baroque/thrash stew we got here. We tried to imagine if we lived during the days o' old Hannibal, Caesar & the gang... and still wanted to rock out and make brain slurpees out of your audio souls. Limited release, enjoy. -The Colonel

Bipolar World/The Covers Sessions

Date Released: 5/31/2009   Tracks: 18
Sales: 5   Listens: 7

we did it. Our second full length. Your mind will be so warped by this album of albums, or so we hope, that it'll be between a mobius strip and a sprite can. Ishmael's been far more loose & grooving in the Spaceport, and it's spread to the whole damn band. we got a men's choir, a bongoist, and Fishgut himself on spoons & wine bottle. Relax, you'll need to... produced by M. Jimmet & Sgt. Conceptual for [almost] 09, most instruments by us.
