Band Bio
Not much is known about this duo. They began by manning the computers and noise machines at underground one-off mobile parties that roamed MPLS's Warehouse district before it became the trendy night spot it is today. They have been described as "Happy Industrial", an enormous incongruity to be sure, but as long as the meds don't wear off it works.
Atonal noise jockeys for position amongst some of the catchiest riffs and hooks any pop artist ever achieved. The beats are frenetic and all designed by the computer module, "RMP/BST2000". Logarithms are input and the module performs complex equations based on the input. This culminates in some of the most off-putting beats ever.
Twisting from the pop focus on the hook, here the hooks become the canvas over which the noise is brushed. And these guys apply layer after layer until the canvas is only a texture underneath the art.
(best enjoyed in large doses while staring at a blank white wall)

the Boots of Sharpened Blades

Tracks: 6 To honor the start of the race for Lord Stanley's Cup comes this disc of hockey soundscapes from the happy industrialists. It drops the puck with "the 10 Minute Mark" & closes with an ode to Gordy Howe (a reworking of the Beatles "Revolution #9"). When the Gods of Frost came down from the frozen hinterlands to survey the games of Man, they gave to him sticks and pucks.
