Band Bio
Gunshot Love is a 3 piece combo that started out in Minneapolis doing jazz covers of 70's and 80's era heavy metal. After several years gigging around town as a psuedo novelty act they began writing original material and evolved into a PostPunk party band. Their shows have become legendary on the local level, regularly packing whatever venue they are at. They recently signed with Uncle Duff Records (Zandergriff Miggs label) and are ready to embark on a North American tour of college towns.
All three members have a long history in Twin Cities bands dating back to the early 90's, most notably "They Might Know", which also featured Zandergriff on keyboards. They are known for high energy new wave takes on arena rock style anthems with gooey sweet harmonies. The local shows have taken on an almost Gallagher-ish feel, where most of the crowd goes home sticky, wet and covered with fruit pulp.
