Witness... cosmic Armageddon
The pinnacle of sentience
Sinthetic unleashes their fourth sonic cyber-metal assault on the heels of their artificial intelligence epic "Binary Empire." Written during the Binary Empire sessions and mixed during the Decibel Destruction Tour, "WITNESS" focuses on a more morbid topic: The inevitable destruction of all life in the grand scheme of evolution.
"All life withers," explains Lilith, "And the old life must die to make way for the new and improved. To survive, the organic must merge with the synthetic, and evolve itself, moving forward from the ashes of the previous phase of existence."
In stark contrast to the cool, clinical tones of "Binary Empire", "WITNESS" channels Sinthetic in their heaviest forms possible, with fast, blasting polyrhythms and crushing 8-string djent guitar-chugging. Sinthetic's grandiose melodies still abound, with melancholy yet tearfully beautiful keys and chords over the chaotic Armageddon that is the rhythm section.
"We wanted WITNESS to sound like the screams of a dying world; trillions of voices dying, yet improving in the relentless progression of the evolutionary agenda of the universe," says Lilith.
The riffs crush under compressed djent-tones and extremely complicated polyrhythms, led by N.E.O.S.' captivating atmosphere and Lilith's fiery leads. WITNESS is like kneeling on the edge of the universe, as all and everything around you burns. The destruction is unfathomable, yet to witness the power of it all is like standing on the shoulders of a God.

"Birth through death and construction through deconstruction. Just like Sinthetic's brand of extreme music that is at the same time deconstructive, cold and beautiful. Basically amazing record is amazing."hammerdod
"I thought that Sinthetic wouldn't have been able to create an amazing follow-up to "Binary Empire." Turns out I was wrong. Another great piece of art created by Sinthetic. "Tyman
