Q.C.I.C. by Törnekrona

Date Released 10/28/2011       Sales 13       Listens 20

After reviving the 80's Teutonic thrash metal in "Cinder" and bringing the classic death metal to the top of the charts with "The Sound of Malevolence", Törnekrona is ready to redefine doom metal with their eight full-length "Q.C.I.C.".

The title is the abreviation of the Latin phrase 'Quis custodiet ipsos custodes', usually rendered as 'Who watches the watchmen?'. The album deals with surveillance and technocratic oppression and it's full of crushing heaviness, monolithic riffs and over the top performances of Sieg Aggern and Johan Kjellgren. This four guys can truly conjure despair through their music.
