Metamorphexistence by Voynix

Date Released 4/29/2011       Sales 8       Listens 12

German progressive metallers Voynix deliver one of the most promising debuts since Zeroth's 'fibonacci epoch' with 'Metamorphexistence'. Voynix hit all the right notes, with a varied sonic attack - from the jackhammer riffing of "Flashpoint" and "The Red Proxy", to the twisting psychedelic-metal of "Dose", and the layered, complex structures of the "Imagos" cycle. The eerie instrumental "Mourning Blanket" sets up a somber mood which leads into the dirge-like closer "Final Detour".
