"I would have thought a freedom hating, elitist, surrenderer like myself would have hated this album about the unstoppable kick assitude of this great land. But all I hate now is myself for not having supported our troops more through hollow, vulgar gestures.
The highlight of this album for me is the seven minute obscenity laced rendition of "This Land is My Land" in which Dewett tells homosexuals to "go back to Gayistan!"

"Don't stop drinking beer with your horses just yet Toby Keith, Dewett Clintock may have aspirations to take over your position as the biggest jackass in all of music, but he's not there just yet. That's not to say that "Respect the Lady" doesn't have it's moments. Songs like "Muddy Stall (In The Jobsite Bathroom of My Soul) and the title track are great, but "Third DWI (Not My Fault)", "Johnnie Jack Beam" and "Poor Little Darline" simply don't live up to the potential of the album's theme."
