The Death Country EP by Lucifer and the Long Pigs
Date Released 9/21/2010 Sales 26 Listens 50
This is the commercial release of LLP's original 4-song demo that was sent to labels. The doom-laden dirge "Ballad of the Bozeman Trail Strangler" will make your blood run cold, and the raucous "Six Bullets, Six Coffins, Six Graves" will fire it back up again. "Eyes Like Brushfires" is slow-burning and hypnotic, while LLP's cover of the absolute western classic "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky" could cast a chill over any man's soul, no matter how hardened he might be. A taste of great things to come!

"I love humble beginnings - no apologies. Genuine earnestness without the pressure of besting their next hit. I wish there was a whole album of early tunes by them."
RevSpike"Wow, an amazing EP Ghost Riders is my favorite by far. check out SIX-66's new EP"
GingaNinja"A beast of a record."
Jaymundo"Great album cover design. Love the little touches like the upside down cross and the 6 in the spade, the pentagram outlined behind it, and the 6 and 9 w/ spades in the top left and bottom right corners. Plus I love the distressed look of the album. Really gives you a feel for this band and makes you want to buy their albums. Well done formerwageslave!"
Eric"With the rumble of Legion and the twang of Baphomet, Lucifer and the Long Pigs' debut is a pounding, rollicking, drunken affair that puts the horns back into our American roots. The opening track will grab you by the gut-strings and by the time "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky" closes, you will have given up all rights to your soul! "
theHoseman"MOAR LEVELS!"
Jamalien"Forget "Preacher" soundtrack - this is the soundtrack for "Jonah Hex:Riders of the Worm and Such". Who knew that country could be so Viking Black Metal?"
Squirrel_Nutcan"Love it!"
TMTYTF"Six Bullets, Six Coffins, Six Graves, Two Ears, and a Bottle of Tequila later, and I was ready to show that pansy-ass Tim McGraw what Country should *really* sound like. Fan-fucking-tastic. "
