The Whisperer in Darkness by Solomon X. Lambert
Date Released 7/15/2009 Sales 12 Listens 29
Solomon X. Lambert makes a strong and strange debut with "The Whisperer in Darkness". Discovered by RA Records, Solomon pushes the boundaries of music so far that he is in an entirely new realm of his own. Using everything from harp guitars to crystal water glasses to carefully construct and deconstruct his music, he weaves stories of an unknown time and place. Inspired greatly by the work of author H.P. Lovecraft, Solomon X. Lambert will have you thinking(and listening)twice.

"I have never heard anything like this. True Genius."
Jaymundo"This is a great album! I love the H.P. Lovecraft influence!"
Crypt_Keeper"Flawless in my opinion. I'll be listening to this one for a long time. "
ChildofAlma"This album makes a spectacular soundtrack to a Cthulhu barn dance, but I must admit a bit of disappointment. After first being turned on to S. X. Lambert by the otherworldly back story, I held higher hopes for his debut. This is not to say the disc doesn't have merits...it does, plenty. I was just expecting to be blown away.
-but you gotta love crystal water glasses...and Lambert uses them in totally new and interesting ways."
