Normal Nightmare by Coxswain Insignia
Date Released 6/3/2009 Sales 7 Listens 8
Coxswain Insignia's sophomore album "Normal Nightmare" is far and beyond where they originally set off on their debut album "Out in the Ocean", they've sailed somewhere else completely. Coxswain really puts their use of haunting melodies to work on this album, where each song unfolds like a dream you're trying to tear yourself out of, but can't let go. It's a musical nightmare you won't want to wake up from with Brad Singer's voice telling you it's safe, but his lyrics telling you to run.

"Whoa... This is some amazing music. I still cannot fully explain or articulate the experience that this album has produced. Both "Goodbye Universe" and "Death by Daydream" are some spectacular showing from this absolutely incredible sophomore album. Please, keep the music flowing!"
letswasteanafternoon"I can't get the closing refrain of "Goodbye Universe" out of my head. I've been humming it all day (along with most of the rest of the album). Coxwain Insignia have once again created a fascinating soundscape with which to tell their stories. "
theHoseman"Amazing album.BUY NOW!!!"
guitarplayer440"I love this band and I've been patiently waiting along with all of their other fans for their sophomore release "Normal Nightmare". No, I don't get advanced copies and frankly I'm glad I don't, because when I finally fired up it up it not only met my expectations it exceeded them! From start to finish this album is everything that makes Coxswain Insignia great - ethereal yet substantial, "Normal Nightmare" is an album that deserves a place in your collection!"
