The Devil Made Me Duet by Creepy

Date Released 4/15/2009       Sales 5       Listens 6

(2009 The Record Company) Remastered 3rd studio album by the leading force behind New York's "THE GHOULS", originally released in 1988.

Fans were hungry for a real Ghouls reunion, but instead had to wade through an album dripping with the overuse of limp late 80s synths backing uninspired duets by a few well-known and some lesser known musical celebs to get to one track featuring former GHOUL bassist SCRAWNY on kazoo, and with former GHOUL rhythm guitarist SCREAMY singing "do-do" backing vox.

"With a staggeringly deep pool of guest talent, this album never fails to surprise. While not exactly a Ghouls reunion, Creepy's 3rd album still delivers a healthy dose of 80's schmaltz for those who love that kind of thing."

"I need a few more listens to really wrap my head around this. The dance remix of Stone Legal is...interesting."

"I was definately hoping for an all out Ghouls reunion, but this was intriguing. The duets were all unique combinations of vocal tendencies that worked, at least for the duration of each single. Loved the effect on the kazoo solo in "Ball of Evil".
Word is out of Uncle Duff Records, Mr. Shakes thoroughly enjoyed his experience. He said "Creepy's got the best stash of rum this side of St. Lucia!"

"It's always been B.Y.O.L. round here. You smuggle in some goods - just don't bogart that lunchable and everything'll be cool, bud."

RevSpike

"Hell, can a brotha get a lunchable in your studio?"

Eric

"Look, Eric, I know you ponly want your best out in front - and I did my best to bring it out in you. But the demo tracks I helped you with after this were just - "okay". And no wonder that batch was rejected - I remember you wanting to name it "The Olive Loaf Made Me Do It" - which is a sorry excuse for someone with your great potential. But that was many years ago. You still have plenty of new lunch meats yet to discover."

RevSpike

"Dear Creepy,
Thanks for dissing my performance on "I No Whear No Whig". Next time serve something other than olive loaf to me in the studio and I'll try to work up something resembling a vocal.
Yours Truly,
Eric Mongrel "
